Widows Hole Preserve in Southold Town owned and managed by Peconic Land Trust https://www.peconiclandtrust.org/our-work/projects/widows-hole-preserve) . Project Phase I, post-construction report. Executed in the Summer of 2016. Monitoring showed that planting and sediment did not stop erosional forces. The project continues to phase II, aimed at alternative designs to create resiliency at this shoreline.
